The air is starting to crisp, pumpkin spice is filling the grocery store shelves, and while fall may just be beginning, winter wedding season is just around the corner. This winter we’ll see annual classics like Black, Gold, and Silver but also earth tones like Rust, Dark Green, and Brown. This mix of glam and cozy is sure to keep us scrolling through our feeds for more.

Black and Gold

Black and gold are winter classics whether your wedding is taking place on New Year’s Eve or not. Shawl Lapel Black Tuxedos, champagne towers, and gold candlesticks scream romance. If you’re planning a black tie or black tie optional affair, be sure to note this on your invitations so your guests arrive dressed to the nines.

Silver bells and wedding bells will be ringing this holiday season. The contrast pairings of light and dark gray perfectly complement the sparkling snow and early nightfall. Even the experts at Pinterest predict that metallic colors will be big in 2024. Keep things monochromatic with silver ties and bridesmaids dresses and sparkly shoes or add in a few pops of green or blue for richer tones.

Dusty Blue and Navy

Traditionally seeing these colors paired together in the spring, we are loving this combination for a winter wedding. We see bouquets of dusty miller wrapped in thick navy velvet ribbon, three piece suits, and mismatched floor length bridesmaids gowns to introduce these colors to the winter season. Never out of style, your groomsmen will appreciate a navy blue suit to add to their closet capsule wardrobe.

Brown and Dark Green

We imagine this wedding color palette in a venue surrounded by evergreen trees with a fireplace crackling in the lobby and a s’mores late night snack. Dark Green Suits are stunning next to chocolate brown or mocha bridesmaids dresses. We recommend lightening up the guys’ looks with ivory slim ties and plain white or plaid pocket squares.

Rust and Navy Blue

Pulling from the fall color palette, combining rust and navy blue is a great way to keep your colors fitted for the season without using traditional holiday colors like red and evergreen. Rust can be pulled in anywhere from bold table runners, to golden mustard rose boutonnieres or copper and rose gold accents.
